... My bird gun. This cost me about $1,700 back when $1,700 was a whole lot of money to me. Years ago, on my last pheasant hunt, on a Saturday, I flew N5594A alone all the way to South Dakota. Landed late in the day with my pheasant hunting buddies waiting to rush me to the field. Dogs worked across an old grown-up homestead and put two roosters out in front of me and this shotgun. I dropped both and they came down heads thrown back ... dead. Stepped off 70 yards to where they hit the ground just 5 yards apart. Winchester 2 3/4" XX Magnum #6s, (Hard copper-plated) 😎 ML

brandon_6xc South Dakota pheasant hunting is awesome! All the guys in my family and some close friends have been going up there annually for nearly two decades. It's great when you make long lasting relationship with a farmer and he let's you hunt on his land. 2 likes

joewarner6336 I have an old field grade with the pivoting speed trigger. I think it was about $300 back then. It has provide a lifetime of fun.
