... There's a short flash hider built into the front of the LaRue TranQuilo (Tran - Kee - low). An old timer told me years ago that short flash hiders work just as well as long ones, but people want "their money's worth". It's kinda like paint on the top of top water lures ... fish can't see it. Anyhow, TranQuilo's FH looks like it's working to me. 🔥 ML

txnorseman @laruetactical I'm gonna try an experiment, and take the gas block off of my 308 OBR barrel, put it on a 18" ultimate upper .260 barrel, and install the .260 barrel in the OBR
esqphoto @laruetactical - I really enjoy the TranQuilo. Works great on both my 300 BLK and 223 Laure uppers. Recoil impulse is seriously awesome and I never ever had a malfunction. Absolutely zero blowback in my face. I just wished I was stronger because the extra weight on the end my barrel makes up drills rough for me sometimes. 🤡 In all seriousness, it would be nice to have a shorty or lighter version of this suppressor. Not sure if that would ever be in the works, but I'd be okay with some blowback (as opposed to none) and an increase in noise for a lighter version. Not sure it's that's technically feasible or even something you'd like to explore but thought I'd mention it. 1 like
