joelcosby Agreed - I won't own an inaccurate rifle. I have no time or desire to feed them. 3 likes
mikenotgonnagetit I'd love to review that book there
eadie.steve He nailed that one...
rufus33rd love my .35 Whelen
kalohao Love that quote. Once you experience accuracy, there's no going back.
keegan.asher I think precise rifles are better
zalexander91 Midwayusa if you know you know
cccosby I mostly agree but something like a m11/380 or my hk21k are both things I'd call interesting. The hk21k is actually pretty accurate if shot in semi although I never do.
tubefitter61 I own a 30.06 and all I get is potty mouthed by my friends. Who choose to ignore the fact that they were eating meat provided by that "old mans" rifle. I get it. Time never sleeps but to say the old girl is obsolete would be a gross underestimation of the worth of a .30 caliber bullet.

  -  tubefitter61 @laruetactical exactly. You know kids these days. Always looking for the shiny new thing. Trucks. Women and latest rounds. I get it tho. Hard to beat the out of box ballistics of some of the newer rounds. Imagine if somebody put a modern bullet in .06 length case. Maybe they have🤔. Lol. Being born in 61 has its downfalls. Lol.

  -  jonwaynetaylor @tubefitter61 if you get a chance, read the book "One Man, One Land, One Rifle". The author takes every huntable species in North America with a single bolt action 30.06. And I mean EVERY one. From Jack Rabbits to deer to grizzly bears to Walrus. There is no more capable, versatile cartridge on earth.

  -  tubefitter61 @jonwaynetaylor I will find a copy and read up. I am a M1 Garand fan and love the history of the old warriors. The military actually was considering chambering it in 6.5 round as well as .35 whellen. Back in 1935. 6.5 actually is old school. Lol.
skipdavidson My life revolves around this mantra, and the follow on, "building accurate rifles is the only thing I'm interested in!" We aspire to be as bad A as @laruetactical
