... I went to the Church of the Siete this morning, Our Sister of the Primer Pocket. All bullets in the 10-shot group hit within 0.380 moa of the aiming point. The 0.290" group was first group shot, then the 0.580" (upper left), then the 0.480" (upper right), then I had a flyer in lower left (see before and after pics). The 2nd round took more force to close the bolt, but I shot it anyhow and it went low. 3rd shot went back up next to the first shot. Go figure. Then I shot the 0.630" (bottom right), then the ten-shot group. After fetching the target, knowing rifle was stacking them, I rehung target and shot one round at the two lone bullets, then two rounds at that flyer, making them both 3-shot groups (0.500" & 0.580") All 7 groups average 0.522 moa - Today's service has now concluded 😎 ML

  -  ewdeters @charliesclones I bet it would be close. The first three barrels I bought for an AR all came with the break in procedure "shoot it"
  -  laruetactical @ewdeters ... See @bryan_litz_ballistics post of 1/2" vs 1" rifles 1 like
laruetactical @j_frank24_ ... Does that all make sense ? ML
  -  j_frank24_ @laruetactical It takes concentration to follow but is a logical path. Throwing out the upper and lower groups you're getting .48MOA as your average. Very difficult to argue with that result. 1 like

  -  laruetactical @j_frank24_ ... That 10-shot group is 0.740 moa aka sub-3/4 minute 😎
  -  j_frank24_ @laruetactical It also jives with Bryan's group prediction math when you place the two outliers back into the stack.
  -  laruetactical @j_frank24_ ... It's startling how spot-on that Litz Chart is 🧐 1 like
