... Another 6mmARC stacks bullets out of a LaRue Black & Tan. CrimsonTrace sent me a couple of scopes to try out. This one had a 1/2 minute dot in it, which somehow made it easy to center in the 1" white box 🤷 The LaRue LT-204 mount was just the ticket 🎯ML

lumberjacked_coder What are your thoughts about the larger 6mm arc case on AR15 bolts? Any concerns there? Obviously, you're building them, so knowing Larue, y'all wouldn't build them if you had concerns but still interested in how the AR15 handles the fat case. 1 like

  -  charliesclones @laruetactical So, I am new to the 6mm ARC. I have heard about "operators" using it, but aside from that, just following your posts. You were an early advocate of the 6.5mm Grendel. The Grendel uses a dedicated bolt, but the ARC uses a standard AR15/M16 bolt? I know .300 BLK uses same bolt. SAMMI pressures are all in the same range of 50k to 60k PSI, what are your thoughts on the bolt? Or was it not really needed to have. Grendel bolt?

  -  mtnbiker1981 @charliesclones I've been running a Faxon 6.5g bolt in my arc. It's been fine but I don't expect the bolt lugs to last as long as a 5.56 bolt. The 6.5g bolt is significantly thinner in a vital area.
