  -  a3addon @laruetactical wouldn't anyone? I'm just wishing for the UU kits to come back. I'm upset I missed out when they where there. My OBR 7.62 needs a sister in 6.5CM 😂 4 likes
chato308 Did you get to chrono them? I'm thinking of doing a 14.5" 6 ARC to compare with my 14.5" 6.5G 1 like
mikemcgrathtattoos Long action Siete's coming? Would love one in 7PRC! u s 2 likes
  -  extremelongranger @mikemcgrathtattoos You realize he's already behind on the short actions, right? Supposed to have cranked out *at least* 200 of them by now (the promise was 20 per day beginning Nov 1....so let's take out weekends.
  -  mikemcgrathtattoos @extremelongranger Quality and precision take time obviously. My question to Mark was if the Siete was going to become available in a long action.
  -  extremelongranger @mikemcgrathtattoos He has repeatedly said they will be. I assumed you knew that and were asking "are they coming soon." I apologize if I incorrectly assumed that you knew he had already answered the question (you can go back to the posts when the SAs were released and find him confirming that LA will also be available. Of course, he said wood stocks would also be available IIRC. 1 like
  -  mikemcgrathtattoos @extremelongranger no worries, I just missed when he announced the LA's. Thanks for the clarification. 1 like

optiskate Man, I think those would be the ticket. Awhile back Mr Recce had charts comparing a 12.5" 6mm arc to a Mk12 and the ballistics were incredibly similar. I'd say for the weight an in such a compact package that's a win for sure.
curtis_carp Beauts there. 1 like
charliesclones I love watching responses. The man said he has 12.5". Of something brand new. Two people shout, "hurray." One asks about getting a 14.5" and the other a 16". The next guy will ask the wait time is for lower receivers, followed by the guy who wants to know when the author will be making 8.6 BLK. .
Gents, sit back and listen 👂 12 likes

  -  extremelongranger @charliesclones This is something like the 4th time I've seen you White Knight in the comments.....and you're still wrong about barrel break ins.
  -  charliesclones @extremelongranger really? You want to go back to barrel break-ins? I think there are a number of ideas in barrel break-ins, and much, I think, has to do with bore surface. 4150, 416R, chrome or nitride. From what I have seen and heard their are lots of opinions and very little science. But, why are we back on barrel break-ins?
  -  extremelongranger @charliesclones Because it was the last time that I can recall (not that it was very long ago) that you were white knighting. Btw, saying there's no science on break-ins is like saying there's no science on how well F1 tires hold up. There's all kinds of science on it, but when it doesn't match what people want it to be, they claim Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and/or the observer effect (some will argue those two are one and the same. And some will not). 1 like
  -  charliesclones @extremelongranger the guy from Breaking Bad? 😂
  -  charliesclones @extremelongranger btw, I have no agenda here. What's yours? .
To lap or not to lap 🤷 Has it been proven? I do not know. I know what great barrel makers tell me about their barrels. Do I care? No. If the science shows break-in is unnecessary, so be it. .
Maybe it is not necessary to wipe one's ass either. Dog's don't. .
I will still break-in a match barrel and still wipe my ass. 😂😂😂 .
  -  laruetactical @charliesclones ... As the break-in progresses, it gets easier and easier to push a patch through. Just sayin' ... 🤷 1 like

therealdougkeeney I'll take one! What kind of distance we can expect from a 12" 6 ARC?
  -  extremelongranger @therealdougkeeney "what kind of distance?" That's your question? I could shoot a 6 arc more than 2 miles (approx 15,000 inches of drop at that range). Will it hit anything? Probably not....not without a lot of tries, and not without some serious optics modification and additions like a Charlie TARAC. But when it hits that one time, will it have any energy? Not much....about 2X as much as a .22lr would have at 100 yards (Energy = mass x velocity^2, and since the velocities will be about the same (because once a bullet is subsonic, it bleeds velocity very slowly....meaning it keeps going in the subsonic range for a long time) and a 6mm Arc bullets are roughly 2x the weight of a .22lr....then you have 2x the energy). So.... Do you want to rephrase your question? 1 like
  -  therealdougkeeney @extremelongranger Dude, you literally sound crazy. You spent all that time and effort to go THAT deep on a simple statement. OF COURSE i meant PRACTICAL distance. Will it be relatively accurate and have adequate terminal ballistics at 300, 500, 1,200? I'm not targeting coyotes or pigs at 2 miles. Would anyone?? You know what...? My ford truck would go 500 mph with the right gearing and aerodynamics. But who cares because that is ridiculous and not practical. Just saying. Hope you feel better.
  -  extremelongranger @therealdougkeeney It's still a dumb question. Define "Practical Distance". Hunting? Target shooting? If the former, then what bullet are you planning on using? Etc. etc. Besides, regardless of what the round is capable of, the "practical (hunting) distance" isn't going to be limited by the round, it's going to be limited by the ethics of the Hunter. Are you going to shoot at an animal when the Time of Flight is over 2 seconds? How about you just ask better questions next timeS
  -  therealdougkeeney @extremelongranger I can ask or say whatever i GD want and it's not for you to pass judgment or offer any negative commentary on my words. You still come across nuts. Are you the Cliff Clavin of Larue Tactical or of all of instagram? Piss off. This is why you don't have any friends.
eadie.steve And I have an sbr'd LT lower just sitting here waiting for a mate. Will this become a thing?
jtaylor It's the little details like the "M-Lok and load" that remind me why I keep buying these rifles.... and being able to hit a fly on a hogs ass. Never change ML🔥
