labronzejames Looks pretty cool. Probably be a hit with the old timers that don't trust red dots, aka the guys that would never replace their 1911 with a Glock. 13 likes
  -  laruetactical @labronzejames ... There's not a safety on a Glock 🤷 6 likes

davidray544 Where does this go exactly? In place of a red dot? I guess if someone wants it that's cool, but just seems like more stuff that someone will arbitrarily add on. 6 likes
  -  laruetactical @davidray544 ... It's not an "add-on", it's a "stand-alone" 4 likes
  -  dghtdddjjjjjda @laruetactical can you add your own tritium sights?
zane_nor I actually thought this was an April fools joke? 16 likes
josephsunnycalb What's the advantage of this over traditional irons? 11 likes
  -  derek_crash @josephsunnycalb it says larue on it and it's qd 40 likes
  -  wet_neck_67 @josephsunnycalb I would say because it is a single unit. 1 like
  -  spentbrasscasing @josephsunnycalb Quicker acquisition over a longer sight radius. And a really good back up to carry in your gun case. Iron sights in any manner, should be readily available in case of optics failure. The main reason is it's cool AF🔥 2 likes
  -  titan_rook @spentbrasscasing As the first sentence of your comment can be taken more than one way, you mean to use "over" as "versus" in comparison of the two, correct? The C-Note is a much shorter sight radius than a standard set of irons, typically positioned with one adjacent to the charging handle and the other near or integral to the gas block. Even folding BUIS are similarly positioned with a longer sight radius. I'd prefer this longer sight radius to preserve the advantages of a long arm length barrel (to be able to accurately engage at distance). To me, the greatest advantage to this is the single-component quick-connect feature with LaRue's dependable placement repeatability. Pocket your malfunctioning optic, and with closing one locking lever, you're back on target. 4 likes
  -  laruetactical @titan_rook ... I couldn't miss a LaRue Chain Banger steel target at 100 yards 3 likes
  -  titan_rook @laruetactical You'd know better than I if that's accurate enough to take a deer at 100 yards (.223/5.56) or longer (.308/6.5/etc). I'm thinking along the lines of the C-Note used as a hunting trip "saver" after a failure of your primary optics. 1 like
  -  spentbrasscasing @titan_rook To which it could. Not optimal, but possible. PS- thanks for the English lesson.
  -  titan_rook @spentbrasscasing I apologize. I was purely seeking clarification, not chastising. 2 likes

americanrawdog Love LaRue products... but what is this for? Asking honestly, what's the why behind it? 3 likes

drfergus Dumb question, but since it's QD I assume it needs to be put back in the same slot in the pic rail for the zero to stay true?
  -  laruetactical @drfergus ... Not on LaRue made rifles, but I can't speak for the run-of-the-mill stuff made in PA 😎 7 likes
macman_lifestyle This is cool, but I think I'll stick with your scope mounts…the best there is. That's why I buy your rifles 1 like
james_hamblin What on earth is this 9 likes
randy_mendozaii This has to be for like a modernized safari/express sight. Otherwise it makes no sense to have such a reduced sight radius. 6 likes
mr.niceknife Been looking for decent iron for a G36. This might work, looks a tad high though, G36 requires extra low sights, have you set this up on a G36?

icecoldmn How about selling the LaRue side plates separately. I might have a tool box or two that they would look great on🔥 1 like
