jason_squatch I'd be interested in trying out the flat bow. I just swapped out 3 of the SD3G triggers for MBT's. Just prefer them. Had a couple light strikes on 55 gr 193 with 2 different SD3G triggers. They may be ok for competition, but I wouldn't trust my life to one. I've put a ton of rounds through the MBT's with zero issues.

andrewjc44 @laruetactical so I've been interested in your straight bow trigger, but I've heard a number of reports on it producing light primer strikes. My question is, does this have anything to do with the people installing it, a potential defect, or is it something else? I'd love to get my hands on one, I'm just looking for reassurance that my time and money won't be wasted. Just a curious consumer here.
- laruetactical @andrewjc44 ... the straight bow is an MBT with a straight bow instead of a curved bow. Same hammer, disconnecter, only the trigger bow has changed. We've sold 80,000 MBTs with the curved bow and I haven't heard anything about 'light strikes' with the curve bow. So there's that - ML 3 likes

lee_bargeron @brian_g182 @quietnotcasual I have several LaRue triggers and a couple Geissele. Honestly, I can't tell a difference between the $200+ Geissele and the $87 Larue. Both are 2 stage, smooth, crisp, and have an almost identical reset. It just doesn't make sense to drop that kind of coin and not get something that is superior. @laruetactical for the win!! 1 like

- parish_john @quietnotcasual I'm betting the differences are as with any other flat vs curved trigger faces. It's really a personal preference deal. I personally love flat triggers and have a buddy who hates them

- naperville_bison @northwestmachine how is it better? I own a couple geissele and they are great. I'm always looking to save money tho!
- aeros_face @rickkerley the machining gone into creating the trigger is unmatched. The trigger is wider than Mil-Spec. Which some might not prefer. But I love it. It's equally as smooth as geissele, but the reset is better imo. And it's way less expensive. The triggers are straight up a work of art. 1 like

aeros_face I now own both. Well I'm waiting for my flat bow. A few months back I kind of threw a fit from the extended waiting period to receive my trigger. My apologies. It's so beyond worth the wait. I am very stoked to be upgrading a few pieces to the flat bow. Basically all my guns have had drop in cassettes that are all being removed and replaced with LaRue. I love geissele. It's better than geissele. 4 likes
