... I'm liking this new holster ... a lot. I made the cylinder that's on the .500 Linebaugh that's in the holster. With that very pistol, I have taken an Alaskan moose (drop hunt), a Utah elk, 2 Texas whitetails ... and a squirrel. The recoil is noticeable, but quite manageable. 400 grainers doing 1,350-ish fps ... righteous. ML

_capt_obvious When S&W released the Xframe, I bought a 4 inch 500. I ended up flame cutting the muzzle brake and called the factory for replacements. They asked me how many rounds I had through it and I told them 700. There was dead silence on the other end of the phone followed by "we didn't put that many rounds though it when we designed it."
