... The thing about the 5.56 is even when it's a decent group, there's too much space between the bullets, leaving you with an empty feeling. This pic is a 0.764 moa / 0.800" 5-shot 5.56 group (69 gr. FGMM). It would be a ragged hole if it was a 338. Sorry about the rambling - my guys tell me it's going to be tough to tell if I come down with dementia, so there's that ;-) ML
544 likestreylillich How are the trout?
everydaypeoplesigp365 Yeah the huge difference really equates to 'eyebrow' 'slightly above eyebrow' 'slightly under eyebrow'
rdam_defense_ross I shot a bunch of groups with my .17hmr, one hole, then I shot it on a windy, still sub moa, but the gap between them was huge 🤣
whiskee_charlie Just don't go Democrat on us and we won't notice
dude_of_the_desert Haha. Whenever I shoot a group and see it through my spotting scope, I'm like 😬 Then when I get up close and measure it I'm like 😊
mnm567 That's how I feel every time I go bench rest shoot my AR. Empty. Is this a 100 yard grouping? 1 like
  -  laruetactical @mnm567 ... Yep, it's a 100 yards.
  -  mnm567 @laruetactical good deal. I'd feel less empty with that grouping.
bob_fargus Just tested my first stealth barrel in an AR build. Bad ass barrel and accurate as hell! Under .75 moa out of a 12 inches with a 1-8 FFP scope. Probably could have had 1/2 moa but the reticle was covering the whole target. 10 thumbs up!
man_ofthe_woods That is a decent group. Good groups don't have space between the holes.
chris_lisenbee_outdoors My Stealth barrel never leaves me feeling empty. Best group so far has been 0.752 MOA, thanks for making a great barrel. Only going to get more accurate I believe
phil.thompson.140 👍
tn_patriot Shoot 10 shot groups and the hole gets bigger.
ryanpatrickmac I'm able to get mine all touching and overlapping if I'm doing my part. I know you probably think I'm exaggerating, but whatever. It's taken me many many rounds to get to that point though.
nfaservicesllc That's why I shoot 45-70 at 15 yards... Big hole!
markfingar If you use a bigger target, the groups look smaller. 😉
