Last fall in Big Piney, Wyoming, I got an invite to tag along on a nearby elk hunt. While there, I also got to enjoy an in-depth tour of their High School tech school. Very Impressed. During the tour, I saw a need for a couple more vertical shop mills for their machining classroom, so I located a couple north of Denver, bought them and donated them to their shop program. Any manufacturer near southwest Wyoming would be well advised to have your HR person stay in contact @brent.hibbert about future graduates. Machining, welding, cabinet-making 🧐 ML

davidjulier "Awesome!" is not sufficient to describe what you did. Hats off to you, Sir.
brock_strong "Conservatives are so greedy "
richphillips541 Totally with you on this. I donated $xxxk to the Machinist Tech Program at Texas State Technical College over my career and got it all back X10 by getting first pick of their graduating classes. Some of the best (after some more training) machinist I ever had. Good move Mark.
electric_wj Dude!! That's fantastic!! You are a first class businessman.
reidaverill You're a good man Mike
coach.5 Nice😎
offtheboot Very cool👍👍
duckhnt I'm going to have some stickers made that say @laruetactical (Mark) has something that's 12" that I really want. Just fair warning, when word gets out, there will probably be a wave of new followers. :)
richardrogersknives 👊
habanero_joe That is badass! More folks need to do this kind of thing. Thank you for your leadership @laruetactical
thederyan An older gentleman I was friends with used to work as prototype machinist in John Deere's engineering department. Before he got cancer he would go to Camp Perry every year for the National Matches. He used to build his own rifles for the matches. He had an old Lagun mill similar to that first pic that he used for his rifles
hamburglar51 🙌bravo!!!!
kelpax_tactical And this is why we buy from you besides the amazing products
degenerateveteran That's pretty f'ing awesome!
aschoe3114 @laruetactical That's 1st class. Investing in the future of the youth of America.
sarcasmk1ng LETS GOOOOO!
zroluk Good shit
eadie.steve "Lagun" is that a French gun mill?;)
lineman7750 Your awesome! What people don't know about Wyoming is because of the low population the schools really don't get much. The taxes from the energy fields ( coal, oil, gas) really fund the school. With the low prices in oil and the closing of the mines. Your donation has a bigger lasting impact than I think you understand. Thank you
heuermuzzlebrakes 💪👏
dwr61 As a retired Agricultural Science Teacher/FFA Advisor and someone who was lucky enough to receive a donation like this, I can not express the boost of confidence it puts into your program. To have someone provide modern working equipment to train your students on is such a morale booster for the students. Many schools do not provide the funding needed to purchase such equipment to train students with real time, real life skills, this donation will pay dividends way into the future. I don't know the school or teacher but thank you for your incredible support, a gift like that is awesome!
awilliams30808 🙌 that's awesome bud. Teach a kid a skill and he/she can change the world!
mdgillespie01 🧡
mckeonekert 🙌🙌🙌🙌
jnoahheafner Very cool! Way to give back!
danjeng60 🙌 those Lagun mills aren't too shabby.
_capt_obvious Good in you for doing this. I built an Auto Tech program from the ground up, and without the generosity of outside people, it's next to impossible to run a well funded and equipped vocational program.
pawpawlammy There is good stuff going on in this tech schools across the country. They are grossly underfunded. Within your means, reach out and see what you can do your local trades school. It might just be time and mentoring that could be priceless to one of these teens!!
mark_haygood Giving back... and investing in their future....that's what it's all about!
duque_dupre This is why you're the man!
joewbyrd That is great!
jdg0707 Thanks for giving back.

treylillich Awesome. I remember machine shop in high school. I got third in state in the TIASIA competition. Machining is very rewarding I need to get my lathe set up in my shop and find a mill as well. Awesome job!
frankc157 Good stuff Mark!
big__daddy__juan Good man, well done!
mgodfrey308 Well played sir! When I was in HS we had a vocational Dept. Electronics, automotive, wood working, masonry, agricultural training. It's all gone now and that's not cool for all the kids who are hands on minded. Check out Mike Roe Works foundation if you aren't already a partner.
bigredford2008 That's awesome! Well done, sir! Our trades programs in the schools is extremely important.
tonyanthonyadventures You're a cool dude 😎

kingmeaningless Good job. Hopefully they keep their program going when it seems like so many get cut. We did aluminum casting in addition to the typical machine shop when I was in highschool
