  -  laruetactical @prosteelrain ... Know how I know you don't know how sensitive I've adjusted my ban button pull weight 😎 18 likes
  -  prosteelrain @laruetactical every shop I've ever programmed/ run the HAAS machines on they never run for any real length of time without issues. The Okuma, Mori, Fanuc, Toyoda run for months on end and hold .001 for as long as the tool will. This was running 304, 416, 17-8, 316L, 4150. Machines kept running 24/7 with obvious downtime on holidays.
  -  laruetactical @prosteelrain ... You couldn't help yourself could you ? I have Okuma turning centers, Mitsubishi wire EDMs, Okuma CNC grinders, and about 100 Haas machibes. I got my 1st CNC in 1983 ... 40 years ago. I have somewhere around 150+ CNCs. How many do you have ? 10 likes
  -  prosteelrain @laruetactical I've gotta stick with what I've seen. Not really a dick measuring contest man. This is what myself & friends who are machinist have all experienced, without any discrepancy. I'm not here to have a joke turned into a contest. Obviously I don't own any CNC but I've run & programmed around 100. Lathe/ Mill, Tombstone/Jaws, Macro/ traditional. If you don't like it, then either ban me or don't. I still respect you & what you've done for the firearms industry & its machining processes regardless.
  -  laruetactical @prosteelrain ... A monkey can learn to program in 5 minutes, as that's how long it took me to learn in 1983. Making a setup that doesn't eat cutters, which wastes time spent replacing cutters from a poorly-made setup sets machinists apart. I've never been hampered by owning Haas CNCs. Matter of fact, I always have 3 Haas spindles "in the cut" for the same money only one Mori would be running for me. YMMV 4 likes
  -  prosteelrain @laruetactical I absolutely agree with the setup statement. I'm glad somebody is having good luck with their products though. The one thing from haas I did like was their 4th axis interpolation box. Very accurate, repeatable & easy to setup.

  -  john_ullman_physique @appalachistan_outlaw 2 weeks to put something in the mail? If they aren't in stock or there are shipping delays then state that on the site. I waited months for my UU kit but i knew i would be waiting because it said it.
midatlanticmunition Impressive stuff💪u s
carl_the_creator I become more a fan as I learn more about the stuff you produce. Many of your products just make sense from a practicality standpoint. Granted idk much about producing triggers, but you got down churning out quality triggers at good price. The bad boys in the photo above, your handguard and it's mounting system, the index clips (which I've just learned recently are a gift from god basically) All easy concepts that work and improve upon shit. Good job Mark. Thanks for all you do. 1 like
bh3187 Former 240 gunner, what is this? Some kind mount?
  -  tony_rust_3445 @bh3187 The ARS is a drop in rail system that sits atop the feed tray cover rail on an M240. The rail is long enough to accommodate a pair of optics, a Trijicon SU-260/P and a PAS13 thermal. The two challenges faced by the engineers making the ARS were making a system that could withstand the weight of the secondary optic when it snaps out of the way during the feed tray lift and making sure the system could withstand the punishing recoil of the M240. .. right from Military Times. 1 like
