... They got me down to proof-group 30+ rifles today. Here's the first one, a gorgeous 16" 5.56 PredatOBR. As per my method, with knobs dialed to zero/zero, I aimed at the intersection of all four (4) targets and sent one. Why ? ... because I got all the cardboard to catch that bullet and my great LaRue barrel-to-barrel consistency keeps 'em somewhere on the cardboard, and ... you see where it hit.🧐 I come up 2.75" and right 1.75" and shoot at the red dot twice. Looks like it's still 0.75" low, so I hold accordingly and shoot the 0.340" 3-shot group 🎯 * NEXT ! * ML

drop_tine_investments_llc I bet you have that NF figured out! Good shootin!
  -  laruetactical @drop_tine_investments_llc ... Thanks, I do have it nailed. When possible, I leave it on zero/zero and just hold the nearest reticle it hit near on the first shot. 1 like
  -  laruetactical @drop_tine_investments_llc ... Between the LaRue target you see, which is 2"x2" square and the moa reticle which reaches out left and right with it's 1" long tentacles ... I can find a spot to put the end of one of the tentacles somewhere on the target to get the bullets into the 2"x2" square 1 like
alpha_phil15 It's not just barrel to barrel consistency...has a lot to do with the receiver face being true. You can have the most consist barrels in the world but if that face isn't 100% true every time, you never know how far left or right that first round will impact.
