... Mad customer bought an assembled 18" 6.5 Grendel UU Kit. "It was defective and wouldn't run right. Was inaccurate and couldn't hit a bull in the ass." It arrived in as filthy of a condition as we've seen. We power-washed it and took it to the range. It ran like a clock. Then we grouped it (100 yards). You can see the first three (3) groups with 120 gr. Federal American Eagle got better as it went. Then the last group shot with custom loaded-by-McCourt 120 gr. Bergers stacked 'em. Meh, all we can do is ship it back 🤷 ML

teh_triggrmonkey I've found about 70% of the people who say they can shoot are full of shit. I don't think I've ever seen a LaRue not hit what it was pointed at when in the hands of a capable shooter.

lincolnlogga I love your rifles and own a few that I absolutely love but I have shot a 6.5 Grendel that a customer of yours bought with a lower and it would not group at all. He thought it was his shooting so we went back to back trading between my 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun that groups extremely well. It was consistently the same thing each time, the Grendel would at best group around 3 inches and we both shot 0.5in groups with my bolt Creedmoor with ease. We tried match loads from Hornady, and some cheaper federal stuff. Cleaned it, disassembled it and reassembled it, no luck. I think he ended up contacting you guys for help but I never heard the outcome. It was probably 2 years ago. Having said that I still think your rifles are one of the best AR platforms you can buy and a hell of a deal. But it can happen that a wild one comes off the line in rare occasions🤷

And it's physically impossible for you to have a rifle that shoots .5 MOA with EVERY available round/load for that rifle. The factors in bullet weight, velocity, manufacturing processes are just too great. Which is why we spend so much time finding the right ammo for a particular rifle. I've had groups go from 2" to .5 within one range session. My 16" 308 groups better with a different load than my 20" 308. They're both sub .5 moa guns but only with a very specific load individual to each rifle. So while you may have found the perfect load right off the bat from off the shelf, not every load will group well in that rifle. I promise you.
