... Proof-grouping again. 16" 5.56 PredatARs. Target is the first 4 rifles. The drill is I shoot one round of American Eagle at the 1" dia. Red Dot, then use the hold info gleaned from that one round to shoot a 3-shot proof-group using 69g Federal Gold Medal Match using odd holds in the scope, which keeps me from touching the knobs and having to shoot even more of the temporarily rare and precious FGMM ammo. My beer math glance at those 4 targets said ~0.550". Meh, we won't make any changes to the barrel making process. We'll keep doin' what we're doin' 🤷 ML

We had hundreds ready and waiting on the hard cases to arrive, but y'all ordered 4 to 5 times more than what we had ready. On the upside, we also had 1,000s of the upper receivers and matching handguards pre-made (machined and anodized). The barrel shop is leaning into the issue and it appears we will be ahead of the unexpected demand by the 23rd. I know what you're thinking before you say it -> "2 weeks". In this case, it's true. imyrhandyman I use to test shoot for a barrel manufacturer & used the same process, and that's when ammo was plentiful. I'd pull 6 off the Doosan's every morning & every afternoon to assemble & shoot. Their barrels weren't as consistent as yours though, but they were pushing quantity more than quality.
bordeth Is your range underground? A few weeks back I shot underground at a range in Kennesaw and the blast echo must have bounced 5 times off the back wall. Think I'll stick to my home range in Alabama. Protect your ears ML
