... It's true, a customer returned his 20" 5.56 UK Kit that wouldn't shoot under 2" nor hit either half of the planet Earth. My guy scrounged up some Hornady 75gr Match and shot four (4) 3-shot groups. See pics. The 4 groups averaged 0.597" = 0.570 moa. Perhaps the Coriolis Effect was throwing the owner off ? 🤷 ML

crazyornothing Quality match ammo and or handloads can be the difference between 1MOA or Sub moa, but 2moa is the shooter at that point. I can shoot half inch groups with 55 grain hornady FMJ, loaded with a ball powder. So my match loads will do quarter MOA with lapua brass if I'm doing my part. After breaking in the barrel, I expect at least half inch with my 20 inch button rifled 223 wylde build.

twojsdad I went shooting with my son last weekend, started with his Berger's B14 HMR with a Vortex 4-16. He was shooting it great, I couldn't break 1 MOA to save my life. Switched to my 18" 6.5 CM UUK, with a 1-6 LPVO nonetheless, and first five shots were right at .900. Oddly, he couldn't shoot the gas gun for shit!

Point really does remain though, if I am able to shoot that with many guns that aren't marked for those ratings because I break my barrels in properly on new guns (which I'm sure 50% or more do not but is important when you're reinforcing the rifling for that type of precision) then I can almost guarantee a gun of this quality was an operator error and not even close to a manufacturing error. Sad people don't just let others try the gun that are skilled shooters before making outrageous and damaging claims to quality brands. These aren't cheap generic Walmart guns lol
