realbryanharris does it use jet engine or propeller?
  -  laruetactical @realbryanharris It's a Continental IO-550. Runs off AV-Gas (100LL)
barneylafevr Would like to see the panel! love those old Navions and Meyers 200.
  -  laruetactical @barneylafevr ... I lusted in my heart for a Meyers 200, but it just ain't a pickup truck like Navions are. 1 like

mckeonekert Wing fuel tank?
  -  laruetactical @mckeonekert ... Yep, 39 gallons in each tip, plus 40 in the main. That's why she called the "Rangemaster" 1 like
  -  mckeonekert @laruetactical got it. So now we can fly to AK and fish and stop fewer times?
  -  chonkyboiz.inc @laruetactical I don't know that I would want to spend more than 4 hours at a time in an airplane 😂
  -  laruetactical @chonkyboiz.inc ... 3 hours is time for me to land and walk around 3 likes
barneylafevr My Buddy crashed his Meyers 200. Selected an empty tank on approach, landed short, tore the left main off. Walked away, but total loss.
  -  laruetactical @barneylafevr ... "I've got 3 green lights and I'm on the main tank" 1 like
  -  laruetactical @barneylafevr ... The Navion's under-the-back-seat aux tank will suck dry on turns in the pattern when it's low, thus you land on the main tank. 2 likes
jewlsrtk Cocaine Cowboy 🤠
lee_kenthe Well, that should pretty much cover the fly-bys
a_tolar Doing the 550R?
barneylafevr And a bit more room than my M20J. BTW, I have 2 of your SPR 1.5's and they are awesome! keep those nation pics coming! 1 like
j_frank24_ Pro-tip: Have your wingman line up so that the nose of the tip-tank is perfectly inline with your spinner and he will be in perfect route position. 1 like
james_siler That's Cool! 👍👍
pylot2b Try flying lax to Sydney! 14hrs over the pacific! We burn about 100k in fuel alone!
  -  laruetactical @pylot2b ... I only fly where & when I can physically see land under me. Up on top ? Nope. Over water ? Nope. At night ? Nope. In a thunderstorm ? Nope. Flying means I'm saving a ton of time, so I'm not in a rush, just gotta see land.
