... Okay, took me no more than 15 minutes to mount that Burris 3-9Plex up in our LaRue 1" QD LT204 Click Adjust mount. Talk about a dick-simple easy-to-assemble mount 💪 Might get time to shoot it tomorrow 🎯 ML

  -  laruetactical @forwardmomentumfabrication ... To put "an accurate rifle behind every blade of grass" will require a list of scopes that will sight-in and stay sighted-in 🤷 27 likes
  -  barnegat16 @forwardmomentumfabrication I've had success with Burris. You don't really need a nightforce for 200yds. 2 likes
  -  laruetactical @barnegat16 ... Everything will be a 200 yard shot when America runs out of diesel fuel and the brush grows tall. 4 likes
  -  forwardmomentumfabrication @barnegat16 that u r correct things are damn accurate at that distance with good ol irons 👌🏻
  -  barnegat16 @laruetactical yep...
dl42 Is that what a 1" scope looks like? I had forgotten 😂 1 like
blue_cat_797 I do love my LT204 mounts on my LaRue rifles👍🏽👍🏽... mine are just 30mm... lol 1 like

usingmyrights I've got to decide what to put on mine. I got an email for a Bushnell Forge 3-24x56 for $800, but that's a lot of glass. Though I'm half tempted to get one for my 22-250. 1 like
duckhnt @laruetactical, we have to say "Richard-simple" now, so nobody gets offended.....well, besides Richard anyway.
  -  laruetactical @duckhnt ... Ha, got caught "talkin' shop"
modest_omega I ordered that stock and grip recently 😀 any ETA on back orders for those?
aldenmartindale Don't have a larue mount on my Burris that currently sits on my rifle. Waiting to upgrade to a trijicon for that. However; I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about it.😂
  -  laruetactical @aldenmartindale ... Which Burris and is it sitting somewhere sighted in and ready this morning ?
  -  aldenmartindale @laruetactical fullfield II 2-7 and yeah she's sighted in. 👍
chad_pyle Just ordered an LT-104 SPR for my new Leupold scope. @laruetactical Best mounts in the game! Thanks and fingers crossed for quick shipping! 😁 1 like

chasetx91 Serious question, are you sent these scopes for free to try out? I certainly can't see you, or someone in your position, willfully buying a Burris or Meopta to use when you could use Nightforce, Leupold, Trijicon, etc.
  -  thecodystone @chasetx91 the Meopta MeoStar are excellent scopes. 1 like
  -  chasetx91 @thecodystone not saying they aren't good. Genuinely curious if there's a certain reason he's using it. I don't see why there would be a reason to willingly spend money to switch to a brand that's not very known (yet) when you could get any optic you wanted and already own great optics such as the nightforce he's always posting. Would think if he's spending money to use other scopes, would go up in quality to S&B, Kahles, Steiner, etc.
  -  thecodystone @chasetx91 I think ML was trying to make a point out of going and buying a readily available, lower tier scope, that the general public may buy, just to see how it did on his rifle. I'm a self proclaimed gun and optic snob. I love Larue's products and own several along with other higher tier firearms. Same with optics like high end Leupold, Steiner, Vudu, NF ATACR, etc. I'm not a fan of Burris, but to put Meopta in a lower class isn't accurate.
  -  chasetx91 @thecodystone think you are misunderstanding what I said. I didn't put Meopta in any class. I asked why would he use it, when we both know he has the connections and money to get just about any optic he wants. A Meopta is not equivalent to a high end Leupold, Nightforce, Trijicon, S&B, etc. If you think they are, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
  -  laruetactical @chasetx91 ... You are right about my intentions. Was hoping to make the point to the poors that they could hang at the range using a LaRue MGU and a low-cost scope and spend the savings on components, or bricks of Federal Gold Medal Match. 1 like
  -  laruetactical @thecodystone ☝ Meant that reply to you. 1 like
  -  thecodystone @laruetactical lmao. I can't believe the King of the Boomers said "the poors". Love it!!!
  -  laruetactical @thecodystone ... I learned the term "poors" recently after a young man in a high-end Porsche decided I rolled through a shopping center stop sign and therefore he needed to make a citizen's arrest. After tailgating me through a few turns, I pulled into a parking lot and maneuvered to his driver side window and asked him what his problem was. He then told me I ran a stop sign. I knew which he was referring too and explained to him private stop signs in parking lots don't carry the same weight as a real "Stop" sign does. He said "FINE !! ENJOY YOUR LIFE OF BEING POOR !!" Then he sped off. Meh, I searched it to see what his angle was. Us "Poors" gotta clean up after ourselves. Who knew ... ML 3 likes
  -  thecodystone @laruetactical lmfao
  -  barnegat16 @laruetactical I'd love to see his manufacturing facility...😂
thecodystone Made in America?
dawizzles I'm regretful that I didn't get more C.A.N mounts at $138
wild_man_dave Gonna have to check out the reticle on this one
will_r_dean Let us know what you think about the Burris please? I am running a a red dot on my AR and would enjoy hearing your thoughts on quality/product...
  -  laruetactical @will_r_dean ... It was $299 at Academy. It sighted in, in one take. And though it's only a 3-9 power, it was good enough to shoot several 3/4 moa groups at 100 yards. It came down 3.25" and right 1.5", then hit the Red Dot 3 out of 4 shots. 3 likes
  -  will_r_dean @laruetactical thank you for your report.👍
  -  pawpawlammy @will_r_dean I own multiple. From red dots to 4-20 on my 6.5 PRC. No issues with any and will buy more. 5-25 is next.
zakkus_araylius I put the Burris 1-6 rt-6 on my UU 6.5 grendel. It sighted in 5 shots. Works perfect for me. I was using a Steiner 1-5 but I can't shoot better with it. The eyebox was definitely better on the Steiner. The dot was brighter. But at the end of the day. The Burris is good enough. I have like 50 rifles. I can't put $1000+ optics on everything. 1 like
  -  zakkus_araylius Of course I always run LaRue QD. Got some extras from when they were like $130!!!
