... Years ago, we were approached about adding our QD levers into another firm's project. We did. That was in 2012. Four (4) years later, 2016, the order finally came through for 10,000 units of the part seen here in machining stages. We rearranged the shop floor to put 19 Haas CNC machining centers into a dedicated machining cell. It worked and we were able to deliver the 1,000 per month the Marines wanted our customer to deliver. They didn't want 867, or 659 ... They wanted 1,000 per month for ten straight months. There was way too tight tolerances all over it and it was too far along to make any rev changes ... ours was not the reason why, ours was but to do or die 😎 For the record, 2 out of 10,000 were returned for discrepancies. The discrepancies were both ding marks from getting dropped. We replaced them, but I suggested they make anymore that got "dropped" into salesman's samples - The ARS Articulating Rail System us ML

hobbit0717 Just started LSS, I can already see where it can help all over.
elevationslayer An awesome piece of gear so we don't need two zeros, and gets the 13's out of the way for the reload. Thanks guys! 1 like

wesleyumbarger I use your mounts on all my ARs. Even on the Beowulf and the Armalite AR10. I do so because the mounts do what you say they will and I've never had the first issue with any of them and I'm sure i never will. And I'll buy more as needed. How about that! 2 likes
hobbit0717 I love buying sales samples, they are already scratched and it doesn't make me feel dumb for scratching it the first time. 1 like
grillas_n_guns Impressive piece of machine work
  -  laruetactical @grillas_n_guns ... Thanks. It's 17-4PH stainless. You rough on it awhile, throw it in an oven, then hack on it so more. 2 likes
frankc157 Very cool us
rmstefko Mark showed us this mount at a LaRue Armorers course in Leander a few years back. Talk about moving mountains. Job well done Mark and crew.

bs929z I wonder what the defect rate is for the m17.
brackeen22 You have an odd way of writing that is hard to read. Thank god your one hell of a machinist and designer.
  -  laruetactical @brackeen22 .. Jeeminy, and here I was patting myself on the back, thinking I was gonna win a PulitzAR Prize 😎 6 likes

dj_robey Even if you count those dinged pieces, you're still at .02%, which is way above the 4% AQL for minor defects. Major win for American manufacturing, but I'm not surprised. I recently went through Lean Six Sigma, and I've been a lot more interested in production methods since @laruetactical y'all are rocking it 3 likes
