  -  jenni_joy @macwears wish there was a source or consolidated list on what companies to support that aren't pushing the vax on their employees.
  -  macwears @laruetactical well I should say clothing companies 😅
  -  macwears @jenni_joy best to just try to buy local from small producers and not support that third world labor.
  -  legitimate.businessman @macwears unfortunately even if your clothing was "Made in USA," that most likely means partially assembled in the US with all the textiles, dyes, and other work still done in sweatshop factories in 3rd world countries. Clothing specifically is incredibly difficult to source and produce entirely in the US at a price that people can actually afford when compared to foreign produced clothing. Some absurd percentage of textiles are produced outside of the US, around 98+ percent.

riley_bunch Cancel culture is bad for our society. Be it left or right. 4 likes
  -  _blackscout_ Not Supporting a company with bad policy is not cancel culture. It called taking a stand. 8 likes
  -  cmaldo5 @_blackscout_ you're right, it's throwing a tantrum
  -  ssnyt You're confusing canceling with boycott. Boycotting invokes change and in this case the CEO being terminated. We would all be better off when companies start to figure out how pandering and wokeness is bad for business. Especially when their client is the working man most impacted by Covid-19 mandates.
  -  jon_jononymous @cmaldo5 so you think a person choosing not to purchase something from a company is throwing a tantrum? Are you 12? 1 like

  -  runngun_james @tylittle14 come get them and you can be a hero and give them away.
  -  runngun_james @2aisdawae super smooth! Thanks
  -  2aisdawae @tylittle14 if he really hated the company he would sell it all at very low prices to drive down the value of their products. By burning and destroying his property that he already bought he is just making their products more scarce and hence driving their value up. 1 like
  -  runngun_james @2aisdawae somehow, you don't fully understand what Carhartt is doing. That's ok though you'll understand, when it's too late! Now that's a smooth brain take.
  -  2aisdawae @runngun_james I understand perfectly what they are doing. You are just missing the point of what I am saying. The last comment I posted was how to best economically hurt carhartt. The company doesn't give a shit what you do with your clothing, you already gave them your money. But the best way to make them lose money in the future would be to flood the market with their used products to drive their value down. That way instead of new customers giving carhartt their money, it goes to other consumers. 1 like
  -  runngun_james @2aisdawae I know what you're saying. I never said I was going to burn anything anyways. I said not no more to patronizing the company. It was a reply to Larues post of burning and I agreed. There is also something to be said and heard, of a person willing to destroy something they worked hard and paid for to show they don't agree with a company violating the Constitution and their rights! Just my opinion!
  -  2aisdawae @runngun_james are you going to delete your Instagram account and smash your phone too since both those companies have the same requirements of their employees?
  -  runngun_james @2aisdawae When the time is right, maybe. What does it matter to you what someone does with something THEY own anyways? If I had a Ferrari and wanted to drive it off a cliff that's my business. Sounds to me that you like being told what to do and when to do. Curious why it offends you so bad about Carhartt to begin with? Watch your own bobber first and you'll go places in life!
  -  2aisdawae @runngun_james it doesn't matter to me what you do with any of your personal belongings at all. I'm just pointing out that what you're doing is retarded. If you drive a Ferrari off a cliff because you want to the CEO of Ferrari is going to look at you and think "OMG SO STUNNING AND BRAVE," they are going to think, wow that retard just totaled his new car and paid me for it.

  -  ssnyt @pandembunny what do you want to bet their CEO is gone just as soon as their board meets? Carhartt is going to feel it more than any blue collar worker. Carhartt just threw away their base.
  -  pandembunny @ssnyt theres no way lol, its not like all blue collar workers are anti vacc restrictions. Its such a tiny percentage i bet, compared to their whole customer base. Also with their "Carhartt WIP" line of street/fashion clothing, they will do just fine with sales generated from the younger generation of people nowadays.
  -  ssnyt @pandembunny it's not about anti vac restrictions, it's the mandate, either vax or lose your job. All blue collar are against this mandate. They don't make anything catering to hipsters.

lehmandylan If anyone is in market for FR related work clothes @blackgoldsupplyco is a great one! Started in the bakken of ND an you won't find better customer service! 2 likes
littlelindsee yeah this sucks for sure. Got rid of my Carhartt items too. Careful though, I love 5.11, but they wouldn't let their employees wear shirts that said "Patriot" with an American flag on them in chandler arizona. They took "tactical" off their name/site too. Hopefully they're not going to the weird side anytime soon. 1 like

rshaw04090 I quit Carhartt yrs ago the pants can't take a good shower of grinder sparks or they light up on fire . They also fit like a cheap hotel , no ball rm . They might make your ass look good if that important to you in the good site with the guys .

bryan_faulkenburg_ Few years back UnderArmor dropped a hunting show's host sponsorship because her husband killed a legal game animal with a spear.
jfpvh Not exactly sure what you're trying to get across here that you like Carhart or you don't or you like the shirts or you don't personally I don't do plaid or button up shirts at all well just solid white ones only with my Suits. Light on the starch and ironed with a stiff cuff for my cufflinks. 😜☕☕us us

stevenguastella I highly recommend @1620usa
jfpvh One of my favorite suits for that I wear is. Top to bottom. A larue Tactical hat 😁 solid black Calvin Klein T-shirt they fit like a race glove and have a 4 inch longer tail than dilute shirts. Levi's 501 Stone washed. Over calf dilute socks stuffed in a pair of Danner Acadia boots. Blackhawk belt Gelco fletch holster for my Sig 229 40S&W and my Spyderco Delica 4 with serrated blade 🤣☕☕us us

john.miller.75873 I understand this whole BS of this covid and the Communists and the sheep's milk and the sheep's poison I understand what the Court's ruling was on the mandates and why they got rid of but it is up to the individual businesses to decide as well whether their employees will get shots or not I for one love Carhartt clothing I have two jackets and three pair of pants I will not throw them away I will not burn them I will not give them away and I will not cut tags off I'm not going to follow the stupid trend people want to follow on boycotting a company I probably won't buy any more of their clothing even though I love them dearly I have to find another company I like just the same and they have the same type of long lasting wearing clothing
voortrekker_19 Those tags make good fire tinder.
tannernolte If people truly cared about where their shit came from they would only buy local handmade stuff. All of these big corporations have shitty business practices and none of these "boycotts" do anything besides ruin perfectly good clothes. If it's that big of a deal at least donate them
tactical_noot_incoming 5.11 ftw
alansarsenalllc lot of their stuff made outside USA these days anyway
