Its lighter than I expected but doesnt feel as dinky and fragile as my cross rifle does. I got 22-250 for the second barrel cause I didnt have that caliber as an option for coyote whacking yet but wanted one for a while. Hoping Mark starts cranking out some more barrels so I can grab a 308 to play with as well! And maybe even some additional cartridge offerings to toy with....??? 😬😁 3 likes

Speaking of not being dinky, in my teens, I hiked east Tennessee hills for miles and miles with a standard Rem 700 in 7mmRemMag loaded with my hand loaded 120g Sierra Spitzers, in front of 75g of military surplus 4831. I never thought about the rifle's weight, not even once. I carried it with an old military leather sling. What matters when chuck hunting is you hit on your first and only shot. A solid, somewhat "weighted" barrel, settles onto the 400 yard chuck after you've crouched and crawled to a barbedwire fence line for concealment cover and a decent rest. 1 like
