... A Siete owner grabbed a sack of deer corn for a prone rest and shot some groups out of his 6.5 CM Siete barrel ... see pic of Hornady 140ELD shot prone off a bag of deer corn (which BTW is a good idea). I gather from his post he didn't do the suggested break-in 🤷 He has a 16power Steiner scope. Said he might shoot his other barrel today ... a 22-250 😎 ML

dyerrtmcidk Would my PredatOBR 6.5CM 18" ordered on 02/04/21 and shipped on 09/27/22 have the Siete barrel?

Your long lead time occurred while we were busy here chasing Uncle Sam's wish list.   -  dyerrtmcidk @laruetactical sweet...I knew it was worth the wait. My 8yr old grandson is shooting it dead nuts accurate from a bench and killed his first deer with it this season standing with a single sandbag for a rest. It's a prized heirloom anyway, but especially now. Thanks for being there. 1 like

iradication_armament One thing I was concerned about was needing to remove the optic in order to do the barrel changes, but LaRue put the barrel torque wrench slot on the underside of the barrels so this isnt an issue. Changing them is indeed super quick and easy. The 22-250 barrel was a laser. 1 like

  -  iradication_armament @laruetactical Roughly 1" high and 1" left of the 6.5 grouping. Posted a target with 22-250 group on ARF. Just got delivery of your TranQuillo brake for the 22-250 so shot that one unsuppressed. I don't expect any POI shift based off all my other rifles using the TranQuillo.

  -  laruetactical @iradication_armament ... FTR, we make no claims about how close the two barrels are to each other POI-wise. But our methods tend to keep all LaRue barrels impressively close 😎
