... Got those two groups from the "Siete sack of corn" post properly measured. The first group (the smallest) is Hornady 140ELD. The second group (slightly larger) is Hornady 147g Match. The two group average = 0.521 moa 😎 ML
190 likesskylined21 Hey, whats your thoughts on bore guides, any recommendations? Is there anything that will match the siete that is already out there? Waiting patiently, but keep thinking about my "soon to be mine" rifle 😂
tubefitter61 How much do you gain by properly breaking in a barrel? Group looks pretty solid without proper break in.
  -  laruetactical @tubefitter61 ... Since you need to do the break-in first, there is no un-broke-in barrel to test it against. I will say this - it gets noticeably easier to push a patch through as the break-in proceeds. 1 like
esqphoto Looks like I need to get a couple sacks of corn! I'm hoping to finish my .308 powder tests tomorrow, and finish up seating depth next weekend. Then I'm off to shoot a local match out to 1,260 yards. Never shot past 600 so this should be interesting.
