... So I walked past a pile of 18" long unfired 7.62 barrels. I said "Saddle me one up". They did. You're looking at every shot this barrel has had shot through it in the order they we shot. As expected, 1st group was a little wonky. But you can see it settle quickly by the 4th group. The bottom row I decided 3-shot groups will tell me what I wanted to know - can you hit with it. Yeah, you can hit with it. Federal 168 GMM, Nightforce ATACR, RAT stock, Tranquilo, LaRue Bipod. For those of you wondering what it takes to break a LaRue barrel in, here's your answer. Average of those last four groups = 0.408 moa. Aim small, hit small 🎯 ML

  -  thirtythree_three @mgarfias If you buy it/bought it when it was cheap and plentiful, there's no worrying about it now. Like Joseph and the famine. 1 like

  -  laruetactical @qddmg ... Actually, he's right. 1 like
  -  qddmg @laruetactical the second guy is right about stocking up sooner. That I agree with and did. The first guy asking where you're finding ammo...that's why I said LOL come on to
  -  mgarfias @qddmg settle down beavis.
adam.pierce.79 Now that's sexy!
mellysonofgod Any cleaning between groups?
  -  laruetactical @mellysonofgod ... Ain't got no time for dat 40 likes
  -  mellysonofgod @laruetactical lol Roger that
  -  beverlyhillscop1984 @mellysonofgod I asked Todd Hodnett the same question after purchasing my Larue 260. He said no, just shoot it. That rifle is easily 1/2 MOA even with this guy behind the trigger. No kick back to me from Larue, hell Mark doesn't even know my name..but you get what your paying for I can say that comfortably. 3 likes
  -  mellysonofgod @beverlyhillscop1984 niceee
  -  han_brolo_760 @mellysonofgod most LR shooters are saying not to clean after each use anymore. You only get one clean shot, the rest are varying degrees of dirty. Better to get your dope with the state your barrel will most commonly be in. I'm by no means a professional shooter, but since I've stopped obsessively cleaning, my groups have gotten tighter. 2 likes

kevinmichael_67 LaRue bipod??
  -  the.crew.co @gt500kevin aka Harris w/ Larue mount? 🤷
  -  thirtythree_three @the.crew.co @gt500kevin Yes, plus a couple of other modifications. They "sacrifice" a Harris to make a Larue
  -  laruetactical @thirtythree_three ... Years ago, before he passed, Mr. Harris blessed me as the only outfit he allowed to modify Harris bipods. So there's that ... 20 likes

themodernbarbarian Pile of barrels? Any chance one of them was mine that's been on order for six months?
everettafanadore These are the best damn AR platform rifles on the market! So glad that I have found this company! Thank you Mr. LaRue for all you do for the firearms community and America!! 1 like
laurahollis1958 Do you guys build a 308 AR pistol?
  -  titan_rook @laurahollis1958 I'd be willing to bet, if you called them with credit card in hand, they'd be able to make that happen. Just don't expect it to be cheap, even by LaRue pricing, or to get it any time soon. Though, you should expect it to be a far sight better than any other 7.62 AR platform pistol out there, they still have their satisfaction guarantee.
jroymurray Can I get some range time
willsmashu My 18" 223 wylde is Larue. I dig it.
byrontabor NICE!!!!
jpraymondi Yes please!
sarcasmk1ng I hope thats mine your shooting!
shakehunt Would LOVE a non-proprietary 7.62 barrel from you guys to use on AR10 builds.
  -  laruetactical @shakehunt ... We don't make generic 🤷
  -  shakehunt @laruetactical soooo in your mind non-proprietary = generic...I guess all the non-proprietary 5.56 barrels and parts that you still make are "generic" then? I better trash my Stealth barrel. Wouldn't want anything "generic" in one of my rifles.
