A Marine Gunner told me years ago they had a new group of rifles in with a left side charging handle on the range. First young Marine grabs ahold of the rifle, fires, and the charging knob broke his left thumb straight back. The Gunny behind him takes one look, turns around and growled out "WE NEED ANOTHER MARINE HERE !!!" u s u s u s

robby.baldridge @laruetactical as someone with 2 rifles, a "pistol", and a shotgun with reciprocating left side charging handles - I have definitely seen people naturally go for the charging handle as an index point. Have caught them all in time so far lol.
