... Had a calamity occur whilst I was proof-grouping a 6.5CM this afternoon. While snuggled in on the rifle, tryin' to make 'em all touch ... I heard someone come in hot behind me ... all kinds of racket. I turned to see who it was and what they wanted and twern't nobody there. But my Canyon had took off on it's own, with the Griffon onboard, and jammed itself in across the pond's spillway 😳 Completely perplexed, I jumped up to see what had happened, and after going around the truck and climbing into the driver's side, I found the truck idling, still in reverse. Best I can tell, the Griffon was in a scratching frenzy and threw the truck in gear and away we go 😎. There was all sort of trees that came within a coat of paint of scratching my truck, but only the mirror got smeared off. I decided it was time to shoot a 13-shot group. The moral to this story is put the damn parking brake on if dogs with skin issues are in the truck 🔥 ML

- db548q @dn1911 Yup. I've accidently left my car in neutral before. That is a more plausible explanation.
- laruetactical @db548q ... I only use neutral to switch to 4WD. Whatever happened, it took it a half hour to up and take off. I was on my 4th or 5th 5-shot group (with 1 minute pause between shots). 2 likes

mrdrewchandler Brake shift interlock shouldn't have allowed that to occur. It's a critical safety feature; you should check to see if there is a recall on it. 2 likes
