... Inside the shop news ... We adopted an ERP software known as "JobBoss" 2-3 years ago. It was quite the Herculean event to go from flying by the seat of our pants to push-button landing in zero/zero conditions. I can now say we did it. Along the way we included / adopted a rudimentary Kanbin system with the goal of eliminating backorders. "Fill The Bins" is our battlecry 💥💥💥 ML

ericlinnhoff I've worked a lot of years in buying/receiving, and have worked most of the "systems". In my experience Kanban only works well when minimums are set properly and folks don't work past the reorder point cards. And don't even get me started on the Lean and Just In Time systems. Ugh. 1 like
