j.mar2382 Mark speaking of elk hunting. I remember your elk hunt that was in guns and ammo magazine. I can't find my copy but have questions. What was the tripod set up you used? How hard was it to carry on the hunt. Will it work with my ultimate upper? Thanks
- laruetactical @j.mar2382 ... It was a BOG stick, and I had my back against the steep canyon across from the bull. That BOG stick made that shot rock solid. I wanted to hold 22" to the right of his shoulder crease. The winding was howling in from the right, but the crosshair fell still, and I leaned into the trigger ... 416 yards - 1 shot / 1 kill on a bull elk with a 6.5 Grendel. ML 16 likes
