... Those pesky ramp cuts. One of those two Haas 4th-axis rotaries cuts ramps on small blocks, the 5.56, the other cuts ramps on the large blocks, the 7.62. We never tear that setup down. Guess you could say we're still running Lot #1 💯 ML

bill_stanton_ Such great work. I just got my upper this past week and everything is so clean. Super strong when the handguard is connected to the upper receiver. 1 like
kodiak_precision Allot of people do not realize what is required to build a billet anything. Lots of machines and precision setups ....another great example! 4 likes

machinist_86 Why don't you do this with a lollipop cutter in a different opp? 1 like

  -  jkedsnake @laruetactical I've been machining for just over 20 years, (still a spring chicken) the value of isolating a feature in that way is so much more valuable than always trying to machine things in one op. A lollipop cutter doi g surface paths will have so many more variables to deal with like deflection and also QC all the rest of the part simultaneously at mass production rates. This set up is so good as it isolates the features and also takes advantage of the rigidity plunging that cut along the Z axis. Love your stuff man, specially the MBTs. 👍u s 👍u s 5 likes
sandy__mitchell That looks so good! I wouldn't mind having a a whole AR in its Raw material look, 👍😊
