.. And this is bar-pulling in a machining center. So the mill has machined the safety locks, sawed them off and they fell into tray below. It also sawed a pull slot in each of the 3 bars. You're seeing it ditch the saw and go for the static pull disc. The disc is moved into the slot. The collet is then opened with an M21 function, the bar pulled out of the open collet as far as needed, then collet is closed with a separate M21 function, rinse, repeat. Then the machine lurches for the 1st machining cutter. The machine runs 25 straight hours with four 3-foot bars in it. The operator tends to it when it stops. He gathers all the safety locks up, puts 4 new 3' long bars in it, checks some dimensions, then hits start. You see only 3 bars here because 1 of the 4 collets is acting up and needs maintenance. ML
