... Just what does "Guaranteed 1/2 minute"
accuracy mean ? This rifle kept shooting 1/2" 3-shot groups, but shot a 0.560" 5-shot group. Could I get away with guaranteeing 1/2moa accuracy or no ? 🤷 ML

guay.ron Absolutely
dreauxmire Loving this color.
davidjulier Don't trash it, I'll take the one on the right.
worlds_okayest_soldier_ If you have 4 (or 3)out of 5 at .5 Moa your guarantee is good to go.
jamie.lamar Guaranteed 1/2" MOA with 3 shot groups. That has a nice ring to it.
whatarewedo1ng I'd hate to deal with the clientele of someone crying if they couldn't shoot 1/2. You could probably triple the complainants of your 1 moa guarantee if you were to.
thirtythree_three I bought a (very expensive) bolt action rifle that was not guaranteed to shoot 1/2MOA, but it wouldn't shoot better than 0.62 MOA (5 shots) with the 6.5 Barrel (going through full handloading load development, but would easily shoot a .25 (5 shots) with the .308 barrel. The parties who made the rifle were embarrassed enough that they replaced the barrel, which shoots better than .25MOA (5 shots). Proof that the barrel was the culprit. 1 like
  -  laruetactical @thirtythree_three ... Very expensive = $?
  -  laruetactical @thirtythree_three ... Shotshow aisle talk - I was told that one of the top High-Power shooters would ask for ten (10) barrels at no charge, then he'd cull through them with testing, keep the best two, then sell the rest as shot-out-by-so-and-so barrels. Perhaps your story is why 🤷
  -  thirtythree_three @laruetactical Accuracy International AX expensive
  -  thirtythree_three @laruetactical that makes sense. Fortunately, I only needed two, and I already knew it was the barrel and not the rifle because I had the .308 barrel that was a shooter
guardianfirearmco Yes please, bring that FDE back!
the_clicker_22 Well since you reload you won't have an issue with shooting a 10 round group to prove your accuracy of your product 2 likes
clayman556 Imo to be true half moa gun you should be able to shoot four 5 shot groups at a target and have the average be at or below .5 moa on a consistent basis. 1 like

josh.macintyre Your rigs legit shoot 1/2" with match ammo. I get under a inch with military fmj most of the time.
jtwendel02 I wouldn't. I can only imagine what a nightmare that would be to deal with. If someone can't look at the target included with the rifle and understand they shoot, I don't know how to help them. When I recently got my accuracy upper the thing dang near put 3 in the same hole right off the bat.
mikenotgonnagetit I'm conflicted. 3 shot groups are .5 inch or smaller which is great. But I'd much rather see 5 shot groups, and that's only because I'm a weirdo
angrygingertx It's cool. It's too time consuming to generate over 3 shot groups with skinnier barrels. I've got a mountain rifle .280 with a pencil thin barrel. It shoots .60 three shot groups with hunting ammo. If I try five it's more like 1". But that's mostly because it's hot after three because it's so skinny and I'm not going to space shots out at 30 minute intervals. This stuff gets idiotic after a point with the foolishness people try to do with it. More important to me personally is lack of need of a fouling shot. If it can shoot a .5" three shot group from a cold clean barrel AND hit the bullseye in the process then it's perfection.
texan.right I wouldn't guarantee a thing given that very few people can get match ammo right now nor would reload it to run through the gun. Maybe start throwing that out there when the price of good ammo comes down otherwise you'll have a hell of a headache with all the user error. Not many people have an underground shooting tunnel either and that wind blows like a bitch on random around my parts. Props that you strive for it though. My slow reloading only produces enough quality rounds for bolt guns 😢
btracy04 No. U need match grade ammo, competent non flinching shooters and ideal weather conditions. It must be a pain in the ass working in your service department fixing guns that aren't broken, just shooter human error.
  -  sp0kanistani @btracy04 say again all after huh !?
mikelhuffings Am I the only one who would like to find this anodized FDE? @jpatrickbateman 1 like
  -  jpatrickbateman @mikelhuffings Nope. In.
  -  sfrazier82 @laruetactical Tell me something.... Why is it the manufactures can't make a fing decision on FDE... of course it's acceptable and a true joke amongst Gun owners. But #danieldefense has the best FDE - "Tobacco". Be a cool kid join the team. Make an FDE tobacco. Reminds me of that private in basic... always wanting to be an individual.
  -  laruetactical @sfrazier82 ... Their anodizer allows guys in the shop to chew tobacco ... they gotta spit somewhere 🤷 3 likes
