This is a Bryan Litz kudos thread ... in one of Bryan's many awesome Blue Books Of Accuracy, Bryan has a chart about how to calculate how big 3-shot groups would be had you shot 2 more to make it a 5-shot group. You take the average of the 3-shot groups and multiply it times 1.28 and Shazam! You save ammo ! Here the three 3-shot groups average 0.405". Multiply that times 1.28 ... 0.405" x 1.28 = 0.518" ... Bryan's formula is within a half dozen RCHs ... (see 5-shot group in the 1" Blue Dot) ... go figure. Since launching my "Pro 3-Shot Group" campaign years ago, I see far less of the "5-shot Group or Nuttin' idiocracy 😎 ML
