... I wonder what the cycle time was for making this. And if every hunter had to make his own arrowheads, or did someone accidently show he was good at it and got stuck in camp making arrowheads while everyone else got to go hunting. Here at LaRue, you never want to admit you can weld ... just sayin' ... ML

long.cameron86 Weld anything from the crack of dawn to broken hearts, egg shells and spider webs. No crack too tight no gap too wide. 2 likes

duckhnt If there was one guy who was really good at it....do you think he looked up from his work and saw a smoke signal from the closest meadow asking when their order was going to ship? 18 likes

senator_mike_orolla Man. Of all the crafts, glad to know I'm not the only one that hates welding. 1 like

kubikmotorsports I have gotten to watch a flint knapper before it didn't take him long at all to make a small point like that. I think around 30 min. A lot of the early points like a calf creek point took a incredibly longer amount of time to manufacture though. Due to the size and difficulty. 3 likes
rich_dierks I wonder if they had a Hi-Point tribe who's arrows would constantly get jammed up leaving the bow 😂😂😂 6 likes
ws7z Stuck in camp making arrowheads and the rest of the tribe always asking when their back order is gonna be ready for delivery. 2 likes
leviboykin Takes me about 30 minutes from a spall. About 10 from a good flake off of a spall.
mckeonekert Tom and I were given a cow Bison that jumped out of a coral and broke its neck. It was hanging from the front in loader on a tractor. Skinning was a chore and our knives would dull quickly. It gave me an appreciation of what Native Americans could do with a piece of sharp rock!
dont_leadem_as_far 🤔 Hunters asking why all the camp children look like the stay-behind arrowhead maker😳😳 - arrowhead manager says camp benefits - probably😂😂 1 like
j1mmydelta1138 A clever modern man also learns to let people know (in subtle ways) what we're "bad" at. When I was married, I'd just walk in and start helping with dishes and then drop something. That, plus strategic acts of clumsiness (laundry) and overstrength (anything relating to holiday decorations or IKEA) will make sure you're left to your bow and arrows. 1 like
