... 2,665 yards = 8,000 feet !! Why on earth does anyone want to shoot that far 👀. So I got a text from Paul Phillips about ELR shooting / ELR = Extra Long Range (search "Paul Phillips, F Class shooter")......... "Mark, I was training the Italian National team today in ELR. To practice spotting we shot your 18 inch 260 Remington at 2665 yards. We absolute crushed a 36 inch plate. Everyone was taking turns making their personal best. I found a nice load with the 130 grain Berger hybrid. 2700 FPS with the LaRue 18 inch PredatOBR. Check out these groups. You can tell everyone that Paul Phillips, the reigning king of 2 mile, says the LaRue is the most accurate AR made. Hands down !!" ... The 5-shot 260 Rem group is not measured, but a 36" square divides into four (4) 18" squares and it looks to me he kept that 5-shot group on an 18" square ... at a mile and a half. Might be a 10" group. All I can say is "Dang" 🎯 ML

dpotvin_4788 If he shot an 18" group at 2,665 yards, that's approximately a .675 MOA grouping... AT 2,665 YARDS! That's incredible for a 18" gas gun!

marcknapp Damn and that round is subsonic at about 1,300 yards out of my 20" tOBR depending on conditions. That's 1,300 yards post transonic and still inside 2 MOA. Unless of course he's loading throat melters. 😂 2 likes

  -  esqphoto @laruetactical - it makes me tired to think of moving 824 clicks! 😂 But not surprised by the accuracy. I've only shot my PredatAR out to 600 and consistently shot under 1.50 MOA groups with some Sig Ammo. Admittedly I'm no marksman but I thought this was great performance for me.
