... I had the boys run me four (4) of today's outgoing UU kits to the 100 yard range so I could see how well they liked Hornady Match 75gr BTHP ammo. What you are seeing are the only rounds fired through each of those four (4) uppers. All four 16" 5.56 UU Kit uppers averaged together = 0.854" (0.815 moa). Each target was shot in this order ... top left, top right, middle, bottom left, bottom right. Discuss. ML ETA - the #4 rifle shot 6 groups, last group was at that miniature boltface at the top of Target #4 ... I hit it all 3 shots 💪🔥u s

  -  laruetactical @all4freedom ... I didn't keep track of which was which, but it'd be interesting to see how well they group (in more competent hands than mine) after 500 rounds. 2 likes
eadie.steve As it should be.
cowtrot Do you also test the 12" assembled UUs? Asking for an impatient friend 1 like
  -  duckhnt @cowtrot it would be difficult to test the unassembled ones.
  -  cowtrot Lol kinda eh? I was wondering if he finds it worth testing the 12" guns for accuracy. Apparently he doesn't want to say.
  -  laruetactical @cowtrot ... You come to a lot of conclusions with just yourself on the committee 🤷
  -  cowtrot @laruetactical See! You won't say! Haha
  -  laruetactical @cowtrot ... And ... you just did it again.
  -  duckhnt @cowtrot if it makes you feel better, my 12" LT shoots better everytime it goes to the range, and it started off better than any of those just tested. You have nothing to worry about. 1 like
  -  cowtrot @laruetactical I'm not sure what you're getting at really. I'm not a genius, just a guy who's worn a Larue hat most days for 10 years now, and I thought my question was fairly reasonable. Respectfully
  -  cowtrot @duckhnt I'm definitely not worried. I just like to talk aboit the stuff I'm excited about. I'll have to not ask so many unnecessary questions.
  -  duckhnt @cowtrot and you have to realize Mark's Humor is dryer than a back country dirt road in Texas after a month with no rain. He's just giving you a bad time.
  -  cowtrot @thiswildadventure Thanks dude!
josh.macintyre I'm just about to hit the range with 2 of my LaRue Tactical rifles. Some new goodies to try out!
ringjohne Is there a way to order the UU kit without a muzzle device
brennanf Great to see the qc going on. Hope one was mine!
jcc2574 Just got tracking on my UU! Thanks Mark!!
  -  laruetactical @jcc2574 ... Yours might be one of those four. 2 likes
  -  justinwivey @jcc2574 when did you place your order? 1 like
  -  jcc2574 @justinwivey I put my order in on 6/3. I actually called in and talked to one of the folks there and they told me 4-12week lead time at that point. Gotta get this one built and then looking at what the next will be!
  -  justinwivey @jcc2574 Cool!!! I placed mine on 6/4 so hopefully I'm up soon!!! 1 like

silencer_isanoun Any plans for tAR SBRs? or at least the barrels for a UU option?
mlarue2004 When will you be running that UU kit again? I missed out but am looking forward to the next go round!
  -  laruetactical @mlarue2004 ... UU Kits are always running. 1 like
  -  mlarue2004 @laruetactical Thanks for the quick reply! I guess that I'm referencing it wrong. So, the promo that you had where we could pair it with a lower and you guys would build it up for us.
  -  laruetactical @mlarue2004 ... I stay in near-total manufacturing immersion. 🧐 1 like
  -  duckhnt @mlarue2004 you can order lowers now.... No UU kit required, but definitely suggested! 1 like
