... Soon as we turn this into Laser engraveable art, we'll have a wad of donation rifles engraved and ready to send to Tennessee. A half dozen 12" 5.56 rifles and the 308 Siete that I shot that target with. Knox / Loudon County line is my old stomping grounds. I used to cruise the backroads with a 7mmMag 700 stuffed in a saddle scabbard on a Trials bike, scoped with a Bausch & Lomb 2.5-8x with tapered crosshairs, sighted 3" high and a half inch left at 100 yards. Hand loads were Sierra 120 Spitzers sitting atop 75 grains of military surplus 4831 and a magnum primer. Crows and groundhogs were in grave danger 😎 ML

crabtree308 Just today I was talking to a fella in Friendsville about how East Tennessee used to be the open range for ground hog shooting. Good times back in the day. 1 like

laruetactical ... I'm 5'9" now, but was 4'9" when I got my driver's license. Got pulled over in 1974 by the Sheriff and he looked me up and down sittin' there on my bike, and said "Son, that's a mighty big scope you got there on that rifle. You'll scare people." I was cognizant of the citizenry after that. 😎 3 likes
