joseph5myers I used one of your UU Kits in 6.5 Grendel with a different barrel to put together a 50 Beowulf AR and it is a beast! I am running 300gr Hornady FTX bullets at 1900 fps and I can fit 7 in a magazine. Can get bullets all the way up to 420 grains. Ballistically identical to original 45-70 loads and more than enough to ruin anythings day!

sebspeedcustoms 450 Bushmaster is a solid round and fun to shoot. I have seen some very good accuracy with Hornady and handloaded ammo. I'm glad the cartridge came around and let me retire my 444 Marlin lever to a more appropriate, lesser used position in my safe without giving up any of the short to mid range stopping power I enjoy for a quick and ethical kill. 1 like

- mwhitney826 @laruetactical 16" barrel I have been using Hornady 250gr FTX ammo with good results.. I'm picky with shot placement but most have dropped on the spot, I have had 2 run about 40yds.

t_saville 450 is a thumper Tim LeGendre had a great idea when he invented it. The 350 Legend is good but a lot of smoke and mirrors when you get it in the woods. I did nab a 10pt with one few years back but a slow killer Best part is you can run LilGun powder in both of you reload them. 3 likes

texasgunnews Since the Siete is short action, anything based off of .308 goes. I would love to see the LaRue Siete chambered in 6.8x51mm or ".277 Fury" with a 22" barrel. It's ballistics are incredible but I dont know what kind of engineering would go into the rifle as it would need to be bulked up for the dramatically increased pressures...food for thought.🔥👏

texan.right 350 is solid for hogs, but the 145gr you got is a little weak by design. I've still taken quite a few hogs with it but not the same as the 180gr which has been awesome. 450 does anything I need to excess, but it's a wonderful round if distance isn't the key
