accuracy1st Funny memory. It's not uncommon. I see it every week. 8 likes
spentbrasscasing I love these types of stories. They start as catastrophic and end with a "well damn, that's it". 👏 7 likes
gwerkin88 I always have trouble with parallax no matter how long I spend adjusting the reticle still moves around. I typically just adjust it until I have crisp image and send it.
doctersandman I will still occur with FFP correct?
  -  oldfrankm7 @doctersandman yes
  -  oldfrankm7 @doctersandman it is independent from the focal plane placement. We in europe have a lot of scopes that have factory "set" internal parallax. I cannot recall the number of time i have seen a scope go back to the dealer due to improper setting or tracking of the parallax or the reticle diopter
danielcauthen 😂 Sometimes it's something simple. 1 like
billsnearly Yep. Optics 101. First, focus the objective to your eye using the 'diopter' adjustment. Then adjust the parallax to the target. Another caveat - the numbers on the focus or parallax knob are just estimates. Pay them no mind.
texan.right The kid that was shooting still work for you guys?
  -  laruetactical @texan.right ... No, I took shooting back a long time ago and who ever that shooter was is long gone. 2 likes

doctersandman It*
charlessanders1979 Another thing people seem to forget is having the scope level... Literally a 2000 dollar scope and 25 dollar pair of plastic scope rings/mounts and can't figure out how come that high end scope isn't accurate 😮 1 like
