I remember reading an article by Todd Hoddnett, I think, about a semi auto sniper project for the military and I remember wondering why they picked .260 when 6.5CM was all the rage. Reliable feeding is pretty important, I guess. It just has a slopier shoulder? I've heard people say that's why they like the .375 H&H too. Maybe they need a semiautomatic one of those! 1 like
- reconsniperfoundation @cactusandcolt just the steeper nature of the shoulder. There are a variety of differences but for a gas gun, that is a concern.
