... If you've been meaning to finish your pilot's license, now's the time to meet and exceed "Social Distancing". Gratuitous pics of my Navion Rangemaster that a friend plans to fly non-stop from San Diego to Savannah, ocean to ocean (without refueling) ... as soon as the jet stream lines up to suit him. She holds 108 usable gallons, so if he falls asleep, he might have to land in the Azores 🛫 ML

  -  laruetactical @thedogeoftheyear ... Cause we can't keep up doing the latter. Opening the floodgates just adds to the complaint call volume ... "Amazon Prime can do it !! Why can't you ???!" 2 likes
  -  thedogeoftheyear @laruetactical I don't understand. I think most of us are willing to wait. Also, I think if your website was setup properly, meaning items would show in stock and out of stock, and people could backorder out of stock items, then you wouldn't have a ton of people upset that their order didnt ship immediately, because you wouldn't have made it seem like every item on your website is always in stock. 2 likes
  -  joewbyrd @laruetactical Some us know that "Good things come to those that wait".
  -  laruetactical @thedogeoftheyear ... You got a good point. Sometime back I had it set up to show "In Stock" .. but it required being actually updated. Just last week I was trying to get to the bottom of where the plan went askew. Just as I closed in on the problem, the guy coughed in my face and sneezed in my eye. And that's what they call a clue ... 1 like
  -  thedogeoftheyear @laruetactical Why do you turn everything into a joke? Your business is not a joke (or maybe this is to you) so I don't know why you constantly joke about serious matters. So the bottom line is you only want to pay for machinists and not logistics... Soon you'll end up like Geissele, which is not a good place to be 3 likes
  -  frei1086 @thedogeoftheyear why don't you stop complaining and let him run his business his way... 1 like
  -  laruetactical @thedogeoftheyear ... So the bottom line is you can guess what it takes to build and maintain a brand all you want, as it's a free internet.
  -  thedogeoftheyear @frei1086 It's highly misleading the way his website has everyone assuming everything is always in stock. Proper websites will show out of stock and the ability to backorder if possible.
  -  frei1086 @thedogeoftheyear I know how it works... I have ordered from him and found out it's backordered... but it's his call on how to run his business. If you don't like it, shop somewhere else.
  -  laruetactical @thedogeoftheyear ... By and large, your so called "proper websites" don't make anything they sell.. That uncomplicates the hell out of their action item list. 1 like
  -  thedogeoftheyear @laruetactical By and large that's not the case with gun parts companies. Including all 10 or so of the top tier manufacturers, among which you are usually considered. You are behind them technologically. My friend, a new customer, (I sent him to you) agrees with me as well.. And if he can't even get an estimate on when something might ship, he is going to go somewhere else. You've got to figure something else out, Mark. It's not working for LOTS of us. 1 like
  -  frei1086 @thedogeoftheyear oh man his buddy agrees with him... time to act @laruetactical! ❄
  -  laruetactical @thedogeoftheyear ... The military's MRGG-S open competition at Camp Atterbury last summer said my out-of-date technology ran circles around the other 10 you speak of. So there's that ... With that being said, your complaint is not new and I'm working the problem as much as being swamped with .mil related orders, and ChinaFlu interruptions, coupled with the Great 2020 Gun Rush will allow.   -  thedogeoftheyear @laruetactical Well it's good to hear you're working on a solution. Because with as strong of a product line as you have, you should certainly have the website to match 💪
  -  tonynorris45 @thedogeoftheyear end of the day its HIS business and he'll do whatever the hell HE wants.

icecoldmn Mark, just taking a flyer at it that is about 21 mpg. Is that around what a rig like that averages? And when you say 108 usable is that when she starts sputtering?
  -  laruetactical @icecoldmn ... That's when she starts sputtering for the last time.
ubmathis Hey ML - What engine and GPH burn?
