... Though I promised I was done with LaRue QD repeatability, I lied. So I slapped same Leupold 2.5-8 on same 20" 6.5Creedmoor and using Todd Hodnett's "Minus 2" holdover, with wind blowing left to right, I took aim at the 400 yard LaRue Automatic target and smoked it first shot. Too easy. And you can see that AR500/AR600 bursting bullet spalling lesson whizzing across that fresh paint from the impact point👀 2nd pic - the landowner has a gong at 780 yards, so using same formula, it said I needed to hold 5.8 mils over, but scope had 5 mils to work with, and I mil'd the gong and it was 1 mil in diameter, so right or wrong, I held the 5 mil mark at top of the gong and sent one - it blew off the right side, but elevation looked good. With no spotter, and nothing but my old eyes, on my 4th round of inching more and more into the wind, I hit it 🎯 ML
