... Blast from the past. Got my first CNC mill in 1983. Here it is and me - a Kondia manual CNC retrofitted with an Anilam Crusader 3-axis retrofit kit that l, with the help of the Anilam installer, laid out and made the adapters required to make it work on the very first Kondia converted to Anilam CNC. Good times. I thought I was on fire 🔥 after turning that bad boy on 😂 As you can see, there must've been a nationwide shortage of eye and ear pro stuff 🤷 And that R8/Qwikswitch adapter left the cutter stuck out like a pecker on a dog 😳 ML

  -  laruetactical @ohiofirstdefense ... Oh, you have experience with 1980s Anilams ? What's the Crusader Aux code for "continuous motion" and what cancels it ? 3 likes
  -  ohiofirstdefense @laruetactical I have zero experience with CNCs and I don't pretend know what you were talking about. My laughing response was to your comment about the cutter being stuck out like the "pecker of a dog". Very illustrative and I could see that from the picture.
  -  laruetactical @ohiofirstdefense ... Oh, yeah, machine shop descriptions are descriptive 🤷 1 like
