
... The longest elk kill in the LaRue family, 652 yards (measured with a PLRF), is held by my youngest daughter, seen here getting her Sergeant hardware pinned on. She was 14.5 years old when she used a 14.5" LaRue 308 CSR (toolbox gun) to whack a 5x5 bull moments before the sun appeared over the mountain behind it and 5 minutes after she dropped a cow elk at 460 yards.
